Chagall on show in Aosta
Final weeks at the Regional Archaeological Museum, until 25 October 2026

The exhibition “Marc Chagall. Between Poetry and Spirituality” is entering its final weeks. It closes on Sunday 25 October 2026. Open since 20 June, it is housed in the Regional Archaeological Museum, in the heart of Aosta.
What you will see
The exhibition brings together 120 works made between 1922 and 1980: paintings, sculptures, gouaches, drawings, lithographs, books and ceramics. They are on loan from the Musée national Marc Chagall in Nice. Some had never been shown in Italy. The common thread is the painter’s long dialogue with the Bible.
The curators
The exhibition is curated by Grégory Couderc, curator at the Musée national Marc Chagall, Anne Dopffer, director of the national 20th-century museums of the Alpes-Maritimes, and art critic Alberto Fiz.
