La Nuit des temps in Introd
A journey back through the ages, 16 and 17 October 2026

On certain nights in Introd, the lights go out and the village travels back in time. La Nuit des temps is a roaming show: the story of the community, its hamlets and its people is told by their descendants, who still live in the same places. The audience is not just watching; it is part of the journey.
Two evenings
The preview takes place on Friday 16 October. The Nuit des temps itself is held on Saturday 17 October. This year’s theme is “a journey back through the ages”.
The route
The starting point is Maison Bruil, an old rural house in the hamlet of Les Villes-Dessus, visited with a guide. Small groups then set off on foot, in the dark, by lantern light, accompanied by guides in costume. They cross the hamlets and pass through four “gates of time”: 1940, 1890, 1710 and 1450.
The journey lasts about two hours. It ends with a tasting of around thirty minutes, prepared by the chef of the Boule de neige hotel. On 17 October, a traditional snack is also served in front of the old stables of Introd castle. A shuttle then takes everyone back to their car.
