A new nature trail opens at Arbussayes, in the municipality of Fénis, within the Mont Avic Nature Park. It is inaugurated on Saturday 24 October 2026 at 11 am.

A trail for everyone

The completed section is wide and flat, with a gentle slope, on a dirt surface. It is designed to be accessible to people with reduced mobility. Along the way, panels describe the habitats, plants and animals, with simple observation and identification activities.

The opening

The event presents the completed section, its educational activities and the next steps of the project. It is aimed at teachers and their families, mountain and nature guides, tourism professionals and anyone who loves nature. A small buffet ends the morning.

The project brings together the municipality of Fénis, the Mont Avic Nature Park and the Eliante cooperative. Nearby, Fénis Castle is also worth a visit.
