Bar Trattoria Favre

Petit-Fénis is a quiet spot, away from the valley’s main roads. Here you will find the Trattoria Favre, a small bar-restaurant that quickly became one of my favourite places.

At Claudio’s

Claudio, the owner, welcomes customers himself, with a warm smile. You feel at ease straight away. The dining room is simple, with no frills, and that is just fine.

Generous plates

The kitchen uses fresh, local produce. The recipes are those of the Aosta Valley, carefully prepared, sometimes with a small personal touch. The portions are generous. You can come for a quick lunch or for a family meal.

Prices are very reasonable for what you get. That is what struck me most the first time.

Before you go

The dining room is small and the place is popular: it is best to book, especially in summer. The trattoria is not open every day. Ring before you come to check the days and opening hours.
