Batailles de Reines regional final 2026
Sunday 25 October 2026 at the Croix-Noire arena in Aosta
After a season of contests across the Valley, the best cows meet in Aosta for the regional title. The final of the 69th regional Batailles de Reines competition is held on Sunday 25 October 2026 at the Croix-Noire arena.
The qualifiers
About 180 cows take part in the final. They qualified in the season’s fifteen heats, joined by the reigning queens. The last heat was held in Gressan. The competition has three categories.
The day
The contests begin at 11 am. Lunch break is at 12.30 pm, and the contests resume at 1.30 pm. The prize-giving starts at 6 pm.
Students at the Institut Agricole Régional have developed the Fantareines app: users can back their favourite cows and climb a leaderboard based on the results.
