Mountain honey in Châtillon
The 23rd honey festival, 23 to 25 October 2026

The beekeepers have brought their hives down from the mountain pastures. For three days, Châtillon celebrates Aosta Valley honey: this is the 23rd Sagra del miele e dei suoi derivati, from 23 to 25 October 2026.
Friday 23 October
At 7:30 pm, a buffet dinner, “Il miele e la luna”, opens the festival at the École hôtelière in Châtillon, with honey-based dishes.
Saturday 24 October
At 10:30 am, a talk on the “Città del Miele” marks the association’s 25th anniversary. Topics include apitourism, biodiversity and climate change, with a tasting of Alpine honeys.
From 2:30 pm to 6 pm, “Château-Miel” takes place at Castello Gamba: guided tours of the artworks on display, tastings of Aosta Valley honeys led by technicians from the regional agriculture department, and finger food by École hôtelière students, served with regional wines and PDO products.
