Livestock fair in Donnas

In autumn, once the herds have come down from the high pastures, livestock fairs mark the rhythm of rural life in the Aosta Valley. Donnas holds its own on Monday 19 October 2026.

Part of the AREV calendar

The fair is part of the autumn 2026 calendar of livestock events run by AREV, the regional association of Aosta Valley breeders. The calendar includes local fairs, from Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses in September to Pont-Saint-Martin in late November, and regional events at the Croix-Noire arena in Aosta.

It is a chance to see Aosta Valley cattle up close and to meet the breeders. The village is also known for its DOC wine and its Roman road.
