Müller-Thurgau DOC

A light white for high-altitude vineyards

Müller-Thurgau was created in Germany at the end of the 19th century by Hermann Müller, a botanist from the Swiss canton of Thurgau. It ripens early, which helps it in the highest vineyards.

Up to 1,000 metres

It can be planted throughout the appellation, including Morgex and La Salle. On the left bank, its vineyards climb as high as 1,000 metres.

A wine for drinking young

Müller-Thurgau must make up 85% or more of the wine. There is no need to wait long: it may be sold from 1 December following the harvest.

In the glass

Pale yellow with green highlights. An intense, slightly aromatic nose and a fruity, light palate.

At the table

As an aperitif, with trout, vegetables and fresh goat’s cheeses.
