Aosta's Marché Vert Noël 2026
Forty-eight chalets in Piazza Chanoux, 21 November 2026 to 6 January 2027
Every winter, Piazza Chanoux, in front of Aosta’s town hall, turns into a small Alpine village. The Marché Vert Noël opens its 18th edition on Saturday 21 November 2026. It is open every day until Epiphany.
The chalets
Forty-eight wooden chalets house the stallholders, many of them selling local products: wines and regional specialities, crafts and Christmas decorations. A large Christmas tree stands in the middle of the square.
Around the market
The market is in the heart of the city. It is easy to combine with a walk among the Roman monuments: the Praetorian Gate, the Roman theatre or the cryptoporticus, as well as the cathedral.
Practical information
- Dates: Saturday 21 November 2026 to Wednesday 6 January 2027, every day.
- Opening hours: 10 am to 8 pm; 25 December, 3 pm to 8 pm; 1 January, 11 am to 8 pm.
- Venue: Piazza Émile Chanoux, Aosta.
- Entry: free.
