Cantina Di Barrò
A name that keeps the memory of the old winegrowers

At Château Feuillet, in the hills above Saint-Pierre, Cantina Di Barrò is a small family winery. The vines were already being worked in the 1960s. The estate itself dates from the late 1990s.
A name with two meanings
“Di Barrò” joins the start of two family names, Barmaz and Rossan, the families who once tended these vines. In the local patois, the word also brings barrels to mind. So the name pays tribute both to the elders and to the craft.
All in stainless steel
The winery has made a clear choice: the wines are aged only in stainless steel tanks, with no wood. The aim is to keep the true taste of each grape variety. Everything is done on site, from vine to bottle, with the estate’s own grapes. Solar panels supply part of the energy.
From about three hectares, spread across Saint-Pierre, Villeneuve, Sarre and Aymavilles, the winery makes a dozen wines.
The wines
- Whites: Chardonnay, Pinot Gris and Petite Arvine.
- Reds: Petit Rouge, Mayolet, Fumin, Syrah, Torrette and Torrette Supérieur.
- To finish: a late-harvest wine, “Lo Flapì”, and a sparkling wine, “Mirliflor”.
