We go there every time we stay in the Aosta Valley: it is very likely one of the best pizzerias in the valley. Here too, booking is essential.
Fancy a pizza after a day of sightseeing? A few minutes from Aosta, on the right bank of the Dora, Pizzeria Avalon in Jovençan is a safe bet.
Dough that makes the difference
Avalon’s secret is its dough. It is left to prove for a long time and made with top-quality flour enriched with linseed, sesame, millet and soya. The result: a pizza with a well-risen crust, light and very easy to digest. You leave the table full without feeling heavy.
For the whole family
The restaurant has a large outdoor area with a playground for children. Parents can enjoy their meal while the little ones play. Budget-wise, expect to pay between €10 and €20 for a pizza.
