Château Feuillet

The wines of Maurizio Fiorano, in Saint-Pierre

Château Feuillet – The wines of Maurizio Fiorano, in Saint-Pierre

It all began in the 1960s. The family’s grandfather, Tinet, was then making wine for the household. Today Maurizio Fiorano runs Château Feuillet, an estate in Saint-Pierre, a few kilometres west of Aosta.

From family vineyard to winery

The farm was founded in 1997. Its first wines went on sale in 2001. Over the years the area under vine has grown from 5,000 m² to around 80,000 m². The winery now produces about 45,000 bottles a year.

In 2014 the winery was extended. The aim was to improve the quality of the wines and to be able to welcome visitors in an Aosta Valley setting.

Local grape varieties, in the Torrette area

Château Feuillet lies within the Torrette production area. All its wines are Valle d’Aosta DOC. The estate focuses on local grape varieties and uses only grapes from its own vineyards. It makes fresh, fragrant whites and rosés, and fruity, spicy reds.

Sold far beyond the valley

From the start, Château Feuillet wanted to make the Aosta Valley known beyond its borders. Its wines are sold in Italy, but also in the United States, Japan, Germany, England, Belgium, Switzerland, Sweden and Greece.

A visit with Maurizio

Maurizio welcomes visitors himself. He explains every stage of the work: harvesting, fermentation, ageing and bottling. The visit ends with a tasting of five wines, served with Aosta Valley produce. Booking in advance is required.
