Lou Ressignon
A restaurant with rooms run by the same family in Cogne since 1966

Lou Ressignon opened in 1966 in Cogne, on rue des Mines. Its founder, Arturo Allera, was a ski instructor and restaurateur. Since then, several generations of customers have passed through, and the house is part of village life.
Davide and Elisabetta in charge
Today it is his children, Davide and Elisabetta, who run the business. They share a love of cooking and are attached to local traditions. Their menu changes with the seasons and gives pride of place to local produce.
The menu
The food is Aosta Valley specialities, often reworked. The classics are there: polenta, fondue and artisan cured meats. Alongside them, the menu also offers more personal dishes, for those who want to move away from the usual recipes.
The dining room has a rustic décor. In winter, a fire burns in the hearth.
Staying the night
Lou Ressignon also lets guest rooms. They are comfortable and well kept. It is a convenient way to stay on in Cogne after a day’s walking or skiing.
