Pinot Blanc DOC

The most understated of the Pinots

Pinot Blanc is a light-skinned variant of Pinot Noir. In the Aosta Valley it is less widely planted than Pinot Gris or Chardonnay.

Throughout the valley

It is permitted across the whole designation, from the lower valley to the vineyards of Morgex and La Salle.

Ready in December

The proportion of Pinot Blanc does not fall below 85%. The wine may be released for sale from 1 December of the year in which the grapes were harvested.

In the glass

Bright straw yellow. A delicate nose, and a balanced, pleasant palate, without excess.

At the table

Lake fish, risottos, eggs, fresh cheeses.
